Why three products instead of one?
Because each formulation has a defined role. CORE provides the nutritional foundation, FLOW supports digestion and nutrient utilisation, and MOVE supports joints, muscles and connective tissue. Separating those roles allows each formula to be built with greater purpose rather than trying to make one scoop do everything.
How is Absolute Fundamentals different from a balancer plus supplements?
Most feeding plans grow reactively, one product at a time. Absolute Fundamentals starts with structure. The three pillars are designed to work together as one feeding system, reducing unnecessary overlap and replacing the cycle of adding, adjusting and replacing separate products.
Do I really need CORE, MOVE and FLOW together?
They were designed as a complete system because the horse does not operate in isolated parts. Nutrition, digestion, structure and movement are interconnected. Using all three provides the most complete expression of the Absolute Fundamentals approach.
Can CORE replace my current balancer?
Yes. CORE is designed to provide the daily nutritional foundation and is intended to replace a conventional balancer within the full system. You should avoid doubling up with another vitamin and mineral balancer unless specifically advised to do so.
What should I feed alongside CORE, MOVE and FLOW?
Start with forage. Absolute Fundamentals is designed to sit alongside a forage-first diet, with additional feed chosen according to the individual horse’s energy and workload requirements. The system is not intended to replace forage.
Why are the daily feeding amounts so small?
Because Absolute Fundamentals is formulated around precision rather than bulk. A larger scoop does not automatically mean better nutrition. What matters is what is in the grams, why it is there and whether it is supplied at an appropriate inclusion level.
Why does Absolute Fundamentals cost more than a typical balancer?
We did not begin with a target retail price and work backwards. We began with the horse. Ingredient quality, nutrient form, inclusion level, GMP human-supplement manufacture, traceability and batch consistency all influence the cost of making the system properly.
How long should I feed the system before assessing it?
Good nutrition is a long-term commitment. Some owners notice changes sooner, but meaningful changes in areas such as hoof quality, condition, recovery and movement should be assessed over time and in the context of the whole feeding and management programme.
Is Absolute Fundamentals suitable for competition horses?
Yes. CORE, MOVE and FLOW are formulated with competition horses in mind and are designed to support daily nutrition, digestion, movement and recovery within a structured feeding system. We use carefully selected ingredients and manufacture to high quality standards. For riders competing under governing body rules, we always recommend following the relevant competition authority guidance and maintaining good feed management and batch traceability.
What if my horse is on medication or has a veterinary condition?
Absolute Fundamentals is a complementary feeding system, not a veterinary treatment. If your horse is receiving medication, has a diagnosed condition, is recovering from illness or is under veterinary supervision, speak to your vet before making significant changes to the feeding programme. We are happy to work alongside your veterinary advice and help you understand how CORE, MOVE and FLOW may fit around the rest of the horse’s diet and management.
